Lower Austria has been "moose country" for almost four weeks now. Since the first sighting on August 19 in Mistelbach, the visitor from the north, presumably "migrating" from Poland via the Czech Republic, has traveled many kilometers and crossed the Danube at least three times. On Monday, it was seen again in the Amstetten district.
