The Government of Slovakia has approved the sending of low-altitude radars to Romania, together with the personnel necessary for their operation. The support will strengthen the surveillance capacity of the eastern border of Romania, according to the interim Minister of Defence, Radu Miruţa.
Interim Defence Minister Radu Miruța announced on Tuesday that Slovakia will send low-altitude radars and personnel to Romania to use them to monitor the eastern border. In this area, drones are frequently reported approaching and sometimes even entering Romania's airspace.
