- On Thursday at The Game Awards, Blizzard announced the Paladin class and revealed the Lord of Hatred expansion set for April 28, 2026.
- The expansion continues the Age of Hatred saga, driving players toward a final stand against Mephisto while Lilith returns after Vessel of Hatred, forcing a perilous alliance.
- Skovos, the expansion's new region, features forests, coasts and ruins tied to Lilith and Inarius, while War Plans and Echoing Hatred revamp progression and the Horadric Cube returns with a new Talisman mechanic.
- Preorders of any edition grant immediate Paladin access plus one extra Stash Tab, two Character Slots and WoW décor, while the Ultimate edition includes 3,000 Platinum and an armor bundle for six classes.
- With one class unrevealed, Blizzard said the mystery second class will reshape the battlefield at launch while the Paladin revives classic Diablo II skills and four Paladin oaths including Juggernaut and Judicator playstyles.
