Longitude Health Names Ian Spier as Chief Financial Officer
Spier brings nearly 15 years of healthcare investment banking experience and helped shape Longitude Health’s formation from the health system side.
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Longitude Health announced the appointment of Ian Spier as Chief Financial Officer, bringing a former Novant Health executive to lead the collaborative health initiative's finances.
Most recently, Spier served as Senior Vice President at Novant Health, where he led strategic growth and represented the system in the creation and capitalization of Longitude.
His nearly 15 years of healthcare investment banking experience includes approximately $15 billion in M&A and $8 billion in capital markets activity advising not-for-profit health systems.
Brett Moraski, who served as Chief Financial Officer since Longitude's founding, will transition to senior advisor to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
Chief Executive Officer Vishal Agrawal stated it is "imperative we have leaders on the team who understand health systems from the inside" as the organization enters its next growth phase.
