Mosquito that Transmits Dengue Fever Expands Its Presence in Portugal

The mosquito that transmits diseases such as dengue fever and yellow fever was detected in 2025 in Lisbon, Oeiras, Almada and Sesimbra, bringing the number of municipalities where it has been identified to 28 – 10 more than in 2024 – according to data from INSA.
