The Ministry of Transport of Cuba today implemented a special logistics operation to guarantee the care and mobility of passengers affected by the stoppage of the railway service after an accident occurred last night at kilometer 80,500 of the Central Line, near the station Mocha, in Matanzas.

In view of the impossibility of immediately re-establishing traffic along the affected route, an extraordinary logistical plan was implemented to ensure the continuity of passenger movements

After the railway accident that occurred on the night of Friday May 9th at kilometer 80 of the Central Line, near the station Mocha, the railway service between Havana and the east of the country has been temporarily interrupted.
