In March, I had a right-hip replacement. My left hip was replaced in 2001. There’s a difference between having a hip replaced at age 49 and age 71. Fortunately, medical advancements have offset much of the long, post-operative process. At 49, I required three weeks away from home, including two weeks of rehab.
