It’s hard for me to believe a 2023 law designed to protect unwitting accessories to murder from life imprisonment just led to the reduction of a sentence for a man who participated in the killing of my friend Will Grahek on Valentine’s Day 2017 (“Duluth murder resentencing 'baffling and inhumane,' family says,” March 31).
