Liverpool is home to the most houseproud residents in the north of the UK

A survey of 3,000 adults found that 71 per cent of residents in Liverpool and Leeds take pride in their homes, with Liverpudlians spending an average of two hours and seven minutes cleaning weekly.
Manchester , Sheffield and Newcastle also show high pride; poor weather motivates 44 per cent of residents to clean, with 73 per cent preferring to stay inside.
The kitchen remains the top cleaning priority for 41 per cent of residents, while cleaning the oven and windows are cited as the lengthiest tasks.
Decluttering a bedroom is the most satisfying job for 32 per cent of people; Scarlett Moffatt, partnering with Viakal, said: "There's nothing more satisfying than seeing those taps gleaming!"
Signs that bathrooms need cleaning include visible stains , limescale build-up , and dull surfaces , affecting 18 per cent of residents' priorities.
