Portugal is among the countries with the highest traces of drugs in wastewater
There are three Portuguese cities among the cities in Western Europe with the most traces of drugs in wastewater. The study by the European Observatory for Drugs and Drug Addiction shows that Portugal is on par with Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain in the consumption of cocaine, among other drugs.
