US Edition'Lioness': Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman Series Renewed for Season 3
Season 3 of Lioness will begin filming in October 2025 at a new Texas production campus after strong viewer interest and award-winning performances by lead stars Saldaña and Kidman.
- On Wednesday, Paramount+ confirmed it has renewed Taylor Sheridan's espionage thriller Lioness for Season 3 after earlier August reports.
- After a hit season, the Season 2 premiere drew more than 12.4 million viewers, and Paramount+ delayed renewal while Nicole Kidman, Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee, negotiated a new deal.
- Starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, the series features Morgan Freeman, Academy Award winner, and seasons one and two stream exclusively on Paramount+.
- Filming is slated to begin in October at a 450,000-square-foot production campus in Fort Worth's AllianceTexas developed with SGS Studios, Paramount Television and Hillwood.
- The announcement comes about 10 months after the Season 2 finale aired last December, and Zoe Saldaña told Vanity Fair last year she was `signed up for three seasons at least,` setting expectations.
