More crews sent to fight Cottonwood Peak Fire, now over 92,000 acres in Elko County

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Cottonwood Peak Fire has grown to more than 92,000 acres as it burns north toward forestland in western Elko County. It's now Nevada's biggest wildfire of 2025.
