The Corbin Public Library (CPL) received a $10,000 donation from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, which is a foundation established by Andrew Carnegie. The Columbus Public Library has received a $10,000 gift from the Carnegie Corporation of New York in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. The 112 year old Columbus Library was built with a $10,000 grant from Andrew Carnegie.
