Huge Fortune Liam Payne Left for Son Bear Revealed in Court Documents
Probate documents show Cheryl and music lawyer Richard Bray can use the estate immediately to benefit Bear Grey Payne.
Newly released probate documents show late One Direction star Liam Payne's estate is valued at just over £21million, with funds now accessible to immediately 'benefit' his nine-year-old son, Bear Gray Payne.
Payne died 'intestate' without a will, prompting former partner Cheryl Tweedy and music lawyer Richard Bray to be appointed administrators with newly granted Letters of Administration.
The net fortune includes a five-bedroom home at Chalfont St Giles, Bucks, which Payne purchased for £3.25million in 2021 to be closer to Bear following his split from Cheryl.
Bear is the sole beneficiary, though the remainder must be held in trust until he turns 18; sources close to Cheryl insisted she will 'always do the right thing by her beloved son.'
Kate Cassidy, who was dating Payne at the time of his death, has 'no intention of appealing' the decision, maintaining their relationship was 'nothing to do with money.
