LGBTI+phobic Attitudes Cloud Orioko's Promotion to the First Division

Last Saturday, May 10, Orio was the scene of two celebrations that, although very different, coincided in time and place. What began as a festive day ended with tense moments: torn-down banners, shouts against the LGBTQ+ community, insults in the street, and the facade of the Saregile women's home was smeared with spit.

The most common type of discrimination is displays of hatred and exaltation, followed by situations of harassment and physical and verbal aggression.
