Lewistown man gets jail time for using realtor license to poach trophy mule deer buck

- Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks officials reported Voy has an "extensive history" of violations dating to 2015 and used his real estate license to illegally access the ranch property.
- In her sentencing order, District Court Judge Heather Perry stated that poaching undermines "the trust of their clients and potential clients" for professional realtors.
- The court ordered Voy to pay $8,000 in fines and restitution while imposing a seven-year suspension of hunting, fishing, and trapping privileges in 48 other member states of the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact.
- Having already served 10 days in the Fergus County Detention Center, Voy must return in September to complete the remaining 92 days of his sentence at the beginning of the 2026 fall hunting season.
