LETTER: Writer looks forward to municipal election in Port Alberni in October

To the Editor, With great anticipation I look forward to our next municipal election on Oct. 17, 2026. The current crowd at Port Alberni City Hall have their priorities askew. The local RCMP is underfunded and cannot seem to ensure public safety (in particular the safety of the contributing members of Port Alberni society).
