Letter to the editor: You have to earn you home if you want to have one

I’m writing in response to the young lady who wrote a letter titled “Regarding rentals, no one is entitled to a second home.” I couldn’t agree more. I’ve always wanted a house at La Jolla, but I don’t expect others to give it to me. No one is “entitled” to a second home, or a first for that matter, if they’re not willing to take risks and work hard for it. No one owes you a house, Julia. You have to earn it.
