Thank you for the first miss in your “Hits and Misses” column of December 20, particularly for veering from your ordinarily local-news-only policy. The things that our Commander in Chief wrote and said about Rob Reiner’s death are so abhorrent (and actually not out of character) that they should anger and make sick to the stomach every American, as they did me. — Steve Metzger, Chico
