Leonard Gross Launches Nationwide Entrepreneurship Scholarship to Support Next Generation of U.S. Business Leaders
The one-time grant will help cover tuition and academic expenses for students who show business leadership and entrepreneurial drive.
On Friday, September 11, 2026, aviation industry veteran Leonard Gross announced the launch of the Leonard Gross Scholarship for Entrepreneurs to support U.S. undergraduate business students nationwide.
Gross established the fund to pay forward insights from his 50-year career in aircraft manufacturing and federal defense contracting, rooted in values of hard work and perseverance.
Qualified U.S. citizens or permanent residents maintaining a 2.5 GPA must submit an original essay of 500 to 1,000 words addressing their entrepreneurial vision and personal values.
Candidates must submit application packages via email by May 15, 2027, with the one-time monetary grant winner announced on June 15, 2027.
The Leonard Gross Scholarship seeks to back students demonstrating the grit and vision required to build enduring enterprises; "True entrepreneurship isn't just about launching a company," a representative said.
