Ministers are expected to sign off on long-awaited legislation to give cancer survivors equal access to mortgage protection. The Cabinet is set to green-light a proposal, first introduced by then-Senator Catherine Ardagh in 2022, that will enshrine the ‘right to be forgotten’ for survivors when accessing mortgage insurance policies.
