Legislation allowing limited use of psilocybin moves forward in Statehouse

BOSTON — Two bills related to psilocybin — the active ingredient in so-called “magic mushrooms” — have moved forward in the Legislature. The Joint Committee on Public Health voted favorably to send the bills, which would allow limited use and possession of the substance in certain conditions, out of committee last week, according to the Office of the Clerk of the House.
