Good news for the luxury lovers among us: 6 additional hotels in France are allowed to carry the luxurious Palace label. But because good news often comes with bad news, 4 other hotels are also losing their exclusive status. Among those dropping out is the mythical Le Byblos in Saint-Tropez, which owes its existence (indirectly) to French actress Brigitte Bardot.
Three Parisian hotels as well as three hotels in the region join the list of French palaces, which has about 30 establishments.
