Lebanon's top government has decided to postpone parliamentary elections due to the conflict between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah, as well as rising tensions in Iran and the region, senior officials in the country said.
Lebanon, which held its last parliamentary elections in 2022, was dragged into the war in the Middle East after the Iranian-backed group launched missiles against Israel.
