A Lebanese prosecutor requested on Tuesday the indictment of former President Michel Aoun for the explosion in the port of Beirut that had killed more than 200 people in 2020, said a judicial source at the AFP.
On 4 August 2020, one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history devastated entire neighbourhoods of the Lebanese capital, killing more than 220 people and wounding 6500.
