Coles appoints Leah Weckert to replace Steven Cain as CEO
Supermarket chain Coles surprised markets today by announcing CEO Steven Cain will retire after five years and be replaced by Coles Chief Executive Commercial and Express Leah Weckert. Mr Cain guided Coles through COVID and oversaw the development of an automated distribution centre in Queensland and a joint venture with UK robotic online supermarket Ocado.
