LEA: Gasoline and Diesel Prices in Lithuania Have Decreased

Average gasoline and diesel prices at Lithuanian gas stations decreased by 0.52 percent and 0.80 percent, respectively, on Monday. At the same time, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 0.52 percent, the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) reported.
In Lithuania, on Tuesday morning, compared to Monday, the average prices of gasoline, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 3.11 percent, 3.13 percent and 0.13 percent, respectively, due to an increase in wholesale prices and higher oil prices. Information on fuel prices was submitted to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 11 by 72 fuel trading companies operating 727 gas stations.
Despite the decline, fuelling remains expensive, to fill a 50-litre tank costs, on average, 100 euros in the case of diesel, and 95 if it is gasoline.
