LDWF agents successfully find lost hunter in Vernon Parish

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents located a lost hunter on Oct. 18 in Vernon Parish. Agents were notified around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 about a lost 73-year-old male in a remote area known as Camp Baker. The lost hunter notified 911 and stated he could not find his way back to his vehicle. LDWF agents responded to the scene with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office.
