The avalanche descended from Mount Mizhirgi in the Bezengi Gorge of Kabardino-Balkaria and covered a group of 15 climbers. According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two people were killed and three others were injured. Rescuers received a signal about the incident at about 17:00 Moscow time. Previously, ten more band members can remain under an avalanche.
