Launders Cheviot mules top at £400 per head at CCM gimmer shearlings opener

CCM Skipton Auction Mart’s high profile opening show and sale of gimmer shearlings and breeding ewes attracted an increased turnout 4,884 head, up almost 400 on the year, the 4,462 shearlings among them trading to an overall average of £253.31, a tidy rise of £19.40 on the year.
