Thousands of people from Morocco have crossed this Thursday irregularly through the border spurt to Ceuta, which joins thousands more registered swimming in the last few days and to which the central government works for the "delivery" of all these people to the neighboring country.
The Moroccan government has filed territorial claims against the Spanish exclaves in North Africa – Melilla and Ceuta, which have been grappling with a migration crisis since the end of July. Moroccan authorities have facilitated the illegal border crossing of tens of thousands of migrants.
