Las Vegas police sergeant sentenced to prison for phony arrests, pornography

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, AUG 4 – Kevin Menon admitted guilt to eight charges including abuse of power and child sexual abuse material, agreeing to a 4-10 year sentence and sex offender registration, prosecutors said.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A judge sentenced a former Metro police sergeant to at least four years in prison Monday for orchestrating phony arrests, which mainly targeted men of color. In May, Sgt.
