Lane change leads to motorcyclist’s death in Valinda, officials say, with driver fleeing

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed over the weekend when an SUV changed lanes in front of him and the motorcycle hit a telephone pole in the unincorporated community of Valinda, authorities said, with the driver fleeing.
