Landmark trial begins over Arkansas' ban on trans youth care
Summary by Ground News
U.S. District Judge Jay Moody will hear testimony and evidence starting Monday. The law prohibits doctors from providing gender-confirming hormone treatment, puberty blockers or surgery to anyone under 18 years old. It also prevents doctors from referring patients elsewhere for such care. The families of four transgender youth and two doctors want Moody to strike down the law.
