Landlord withdraws rent increase after tenant strike at Toronto apartment: organizers
Tenant organizers say the landlord withdrew an above-guideline rent increase application after tenants withheld rent for six months.

- Bryan Doherty of Parkdale Organize said the strike succeeded because neighbours formed an independent organization and "directly confronted their landlord," stepping outside legal convention.
