Lamborghini seized by police after speeding reports
A Lamborghini Huracan valued at around £238,195 was seized by Essex Police following reports of dangerous driving in Southend.
The car was reportedly driven at speeds suspected to be more than twice the legal limit on a Saturday afternoon, according to multiple calls made to Essex Police.
The vehicle was seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, which allows police to take action if a car causes alarm, distress, or annoyance to the public.
Section 59 can be used when an officer reasonably believes the car is causing or is likely to cause alarm, distress, or annoyance to the public.
