Campfire ban now in effect for the Kamloops Fire Centre
A campfire ban is now in effect for much of British Columbia’s southern Interior. Category 1 campfires are prohibited in the Kamloops Fire Centre, which includes the Okanagan, as of noon today. The Kamloops Fire Centre is made up of the Penticton, Vernon, Merritt, Kamloops and Lillooet fire zones, and a map of the affected area can be viewed here.
