The East Ridge Lady Warriors opened their season with a 46–35 victory over Richlands, Va., on Wednesday night. Sophomore Kourtlee Keene turned in a standout performance, finishing with 18 points, 13 steals, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the win. She was followed by eighth grader Alena Dotson, who added 7 points and a strong 13 rebounds. East Ridge will return to action Monday when they travel to Pike County Central to face the Lady Hawks.
