With the school year almost here, School District of La Crosse staff got together for a kickoff event at Central High School on Monday morning.  Around 800 people from every school in the district filled the auditorium at the school.  Superintendent Dr. Aaron Engel said it’s one of his favorite parts of the year.   “These teachers and staff are the people that make public education run.
