Oregon Governor Tina Kotek declared a drought emergency in six counties on Thursday, amid record-low snowpack and ongoing dry conditions.

GRANT COUNTY – A drought emergency for Grant County has been declared by the Oregon Governor’s Office. According to a press release, “As of April 7, 99% of Grant County is in moderate to severe drought. SPEI values over the last year and WYTD indicate drier-than-normal conditions for most of the county.
