The former mayor of Split and president of the Croatian Civic Party (HGS) Željko Kerum has been arrested in an operation by the Croatian Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organized Crime. The arrest is believed to be related to the 'Konoba Pršut affair'. Namely, an inspection in 2019 found that the tavern owned by Kerum was built illegally.

Along with KERUM, Tomislav Režić, the owner of the company, was also arrested.

The Minister said that the Ministry would act if any initiative was received and that the Ministry was not competent in the first instance, but rather the Administrative Department of the City of Kaštela.
