Townsville police have charged a 32-year-old Cosgrove man after a flick knife was located during a wanding operation in the Townsville CBD on 26 February. Around 6.45pm, officers were conducting a proactive wanding operation on Victoria Bridge when a member of the public alleged the man was carrying a knife.
