Kingston’s Andy Murphy center to undergo lead, asbestos abatement project starting in August

KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center will undergo an extensive lead and asbestos abatement project starting on Aug. 5, Mayor Steve Noble announced Friday. Noble’s office said the project is expected to wrap up by mid-October. This is ahead of Noble’s previous timetable that called for the project to start in the fall.
