The University of Salamanca will invest Doctor ‘honoris causa’ to the president of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, on March 19. The ceremony will be presided over by King Felipe VI and will take place in the emblematic Paraninfo of the institution, as reported by the rector Juan Manuel Corchado during the last session of the Governing Council.The proposal was approved by the Cloister of Doctors of the USAL, last January.
