- On Wednesday, Mrs Justice Christina Lambert set a provisional three-week trial window in October next year for civil claims by three men against Kevin Spacey at the High Court in London.
- Linked to his work at the Old Vic, the claims relate to alleged sexual assaults by Spacey of younger men, including actor Ruari Cannon who waived anonymity and is suing the Old Vic theatre.
- A claimant known only as LNP alleges `deliberately assaulted` him on about 12 occasions, and each claimant will be a witness in the other claimants' cases with additional claimants' witnesses called.
- Lambert ordered the claims be case-managed together, though William McCormick KC argued one claim should be heard in county court; Mr Spacey denies the allegations and has yet to file all defences.
- Further hearings will decide whether the claims are combined, with witnesses called in support of claimants including two from the earlier criminal trial at the High Court.

Kevin Spacey will return to British justice. The 66-year-old American actor will have to respond in 2026 to a civil trial in London for allegations of sexual assault by three men. The High Court confirmed that the preliminary hearing took place this week and that the trial is scheduled for October of that year.
