KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, JUL 17 – Kerr County Commissioners approved a lower tax rate of 40.11 cents per $100 of assessed value amid protests demanding clarity before any property tax increase.

Days after the county empowered the tax appraiser-collector to crunch the numbers on a tax increase, dozens of people gathered in protest.
