Police Identify Woman Presumed Drowned in Kamloops River
A 21-year-old passenger was rescued by three bystanders as multiple agencies searched for the driver after the car entered the river, police said.

- A 21-year-old passenger was rescued by three bystanders who jumped into the river to help; emergency responders including Kamloops RCMP, BC Ambulance Service, Kamloops Search and Rescue, and Kamloops Fire and Rescue mobilized.
- At this time, neither Jepkoech nor the vehicle has been recovered, though Jeff Pelley, officer-in-charge of the Kamloops detachment, thanked everyone who contributed to rescue and search efforts.
