According to the British press, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, supposedly hosting the 2027 edition of the African Cup of Nations, are said to have fallen behind in their preparations.
According to the British press, the next African Cup of Nations could be postponed to 2028. Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania would not yet be ready to host the event.
Kenya, a co-organiser, would be in favour of postponing the 2027 African Cup in view of the risk of election-related violence during this period, said Thursday 12 February to the AFP the chairman of its organizing committee.
