FRANKFORT, Ky., (KBSI) — The Kentucky Governor’s Mansion was lit purple Monday in recognition of Overdose Awareness Day. Gov. Andy Beshear said the observance honors those who have died from overdoses and highlights the state’s progress in combating addiction.
