Kentucky Fish and Wildlife will limit each hunt to 25 or 30 hunters as fields close between quota dates to reduce pressure.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (KT) – The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will host four dove quota hunts and four traditional mentor/youth dove quota hunts during the early part of dove hunting season, which opens on Sept. 1, 2026.
